One of the most common faults aimed at the Multistrada is its' lack of decent wind and weather protection. The standard screen is angled to direct wind blast directly at the head and the Ducati touring screen is only marginally better.
We have addressed these issues by designing a unique bolt-on pair of adjustable brackets that allows a greater range of adjustment for the screen - as well as the standard sliding mechanism, the brackets provide a further 50mm up&down adjustment.
It repositions the screen 25mm further forward to relieve pressure in front of the screen and reducing vacuum behind it - the main cause of turbulence. This allows the air to flow better over and around the screen. This forward positioning also provides essential airflow to prevent visor misting and fogging. Provides 12 indexed height and tilt positions.The added tilting ability (4 separate indexed positions) allows you to fine tune its' performance to suit your varying needs - pillion and luggage configurations, road types, weather, etc...... A truly essential modification and a more cost effective solution than much larger screens that only partially resolve the problems.

This Tail Rack is ideal for locating a tail-pack or smaller luggage items. Bolts directly onto the rear grab rail assembly using the stainless steel fasteners provided. Provides numerous attachment options and the slots are wide enough for buckle straps to be threaded through for secure fastening. There is also the option to mount a separate Back Rest Assembly if desired, using a unique bracket as shown below - has provision to store flat. Versatile Back Rest:
The performance of the Ducati Multistrada can be extremely daunting for a passenger - this versatile back-rest will help provide more security and comfort. This unique design features two main components, the Base Section bolts directly to the standard rear carrier frame, whilst the Vertical Support is secured to the base using tool-less plastic knobs - this allow quick removal of this section which can then be laid flat and attached to the base. - this also provides a useful rear carrier. The upright section also has provision for two straps, allowing the assembly to be converted into a fuel can carrier. This additional provision comes as a separate kit and consists of two buckle straps plus a right-angled bracket to provide a shelf for the fuel can. The components are made from precision laser-cut thick stainless steel and Black Powder-Coated. Comes with all relevant stainless steel hardware. A further innovative option is to add one or two flip-out Helmet Holders. The Pad comes with either Black, Red or White piping around the edge. Also compatible with out Rear Carrier. |

Heat Shield:
The front cylinder head is in a very exposed position and vulnerable to corrosion and the paint can quickly start to lift, spreading to the rest of the head. This HEAVY DUTY Side Stand Foot Extension significantly improves the foot's surface area to provide a much more secure footing for your bike especially on softer or infirm ground - does not interfere with the bike's operation. - Accessory Bar - The Accessory Bar is designed to fit onto the Windshield Adapter Kit and also a stabilizing pole between the two adjustable brackets. It allows you to position your GPS/Phone/Accessory in the ideal position with minimum distraction from your view ahead. It also provides excellent weather protection for your accessories in this position. Made from 1/2" or 3/4" Diameter made from Stainless Steel or Black powder-coated alloy.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA 1200 ('13 MY) - SCREEN ADAPTER INSTALLATION
First step is to remove the standard screen, keeping the rubber grommets and fasteners installed as they will be required to reattach the screen.
Next, loosely mount the bracket assemblies as shown above, ensuring a plastic washer (provided) is placed underneath each bracket tab.
With the brackets in position, loosely mount the screen, adding the lock-nuts and washers provided. Ensure a rubber isolating washer is placed between each bracket tab and the screen - this helps relieve stress on the screen. Finally, tighten the fasteners further, checking alignment of the screen and brackets as you do so. Once you are happy the brackets and screen are symmetric, tighten the cowl-side brackets to around 2-3Nm but only tighten the screen lock-nuts just enough to lightly compress the rubber washers - over-tightening will stress the screen which can cause cracking. A small amount of loctite on the cowl-side fasteners is also recommended.
You are now ready to take a test ride and find your best setting(s), taking care to familiarise yourself with the bike's new characteristics.
